Unconditional solidarity with the Iranian people!

Anyone who has read my book “On the Head of Buddha” knows that I am not a fan of the Pahlavis and the Shah’s regime. However, if Reza Pahlavi is the key to freeing the country from the mullahs’ regime, he has my full support. The regime has never been so hated and weakened, and the time has come for the Iranian people to take back control of their destiny and continue on their path to freedom and happiness.

A government of national unity, uniting all ethnic and religious minorities as well as all democratic forces, including the royalists and, why not, with Reza Pahlavi at its head, would undoubtedly be the best solution to bring about change as peacefully as possible and have a chance of success.

I offer my full support to the Iranian people. The road ahead will certainly be long, but there appears to be no other choice, as the mullahs will never leave of their own accord and the people have suffered enough.
Life and Freedom

Freedom!
Let us never forget to celebrate it,
defend it, and protect it.”

For it is and always will be in danger.

The golden Age

As I wrote a few years ago in my book “On Bouddha’s Head,” the eyes of young Iranians lit up when I told them that I had spent several days in Iran in 1972, and they would say to me without batting an eyelid, “Ah, those days! That was the golden age.” ” I had to admit that in the 1970s, I was a fervent opponent of the Shah of Iran.
I hope they have forgiven me and that the Shah’s son will succeed in rallying all those who are fighting for a free and democratic Iran.

Sponsor school classes in Afghanistan

A SMALL GESTURE FOR A BIG CAUSE 5 euros x xxxx: Many small streams form a large river! In Afghanistan, school has become a secret affair for thousands of girls. But behind discreet doors, female teachers continue to open notebooks, correct homework, and impart knowledge—because education remains the only way out of isolation.

Today, FemAid and Nayestane maintain a network of 141 secret classes taught by 175 female teachers, benefiting 2,980 female students in 21 provinces. Sponsoring a class means financing an entire school year for 25 girls (classes 6 days/week, 4 hours/day, 8 subjects, textbooks, and teaching materials).

It also means protecting a place of learning, paying the teachers, ensuring supervision, and preserving the dignity that prevents their future from being taken away. The cost is €5,000 per class per year (detailed budget: €5,071).

If you can, become a sponsor for a class: your support is direct, concrete, and immediately vital. Even a small donation counts—and together they keep an entire school alive.
